Thanks Oculum, but I had seen your rig already. It's a nice set up to be sure, but my bump of this thread had more to do with the fact that Axiotron has been very slow in releasing a product they've been talking about for a while now. I just wanted to know if there are still plans to come out with the VESA mounts or not.

any news on the vesa mounts? you see them in the photos taken at macworld 09 used in conjunction with the ergotron LX arms.

I gave up waiting for this famous VESA mount. Must be so hard to produce... They should have let a third party do it...

yeah i think most would have after 2 years, but i only just got my first modbook a week ago my wait for the mount has only just started...

I think axiotron just has really awesome investors that let them build million-dollar windmills while they take their sweet time on actual product, meanwhile, the rest of the industry keeps on moving.

I think they operate at an extremely slow pace for a technology company.

You just bought a week ago? That hurts. Axiotron just dropped the price by like 500 bucks.

ha ha good thing i bought mine on the day they changed the price on owc. they did that before updating the website ;p

yes axiotron very slow with their development, but since i am actually studying industrial design and could never finish my projects on time, i kinda feel for them. it's not easy when you're a small company serving a niche market, but without axio we'll still be here waiting for apple on a tablet mac, which will probably be an up-sized iphone without pressure sensitivity. from what i see i think axiotron is in some ways ahead of it's time, and that's actually why they're suffering.

It dates back to 2007, so I thought it would be easy to find the object, but it seems not so. I tried looking for: vesa bracket, vesa mount, modbook mount, stand and some other combination of these words, but it seems impossible to find something like that. I even looked into axiotron main site, but on the "accessories" page there is only the new pen.
Have you found something similar to this mount on sale?
any help would be very appreciated
(ps. I tried to contact axiotron but it seems there is not a email for customer care. can you suggest me where can I write to them?)

Odd, the moderator has repeatedly and determinedly prevented anyone linking to the photo of that VESA mount. I'm puzzled as to why.

Because they never plan to produce it. Such a pity that a simple thing like this that could be produced by so many third party vendors has been such an issue. I gave up long ago...
