QuickFlip
When will the QuickFlip software be available for download?
How do you get the modbook to go to sleep and stay asleep until you intend to wake it?
Other than these two issues I have been delighted with the machine as delivered.

RE: QuickFlip
I agree, I bought my ModBook because of this feature, and still no word. What's the deal?

RE: QuickFlip
I've been waiting on them to talk to me on this (since there is no way to call them or email support) ... bad customer service so far on my side. But for you with newer modbooks here is the screen rotation link.

Put your new Modbook to sleep like any other Mac. Just go to the Apple Menu and scroll down to the "Sleep" item. Tap once with stylus (or however your pen is set up).
To wake: Make a gesture on the screen with your stylus. Any gesture. The Modbook just needs some input to wake.
Enjoy!

RE: QuickFlip
My ModBook does NOT go to sleep. The screen goes dark, yes, but the drive and fan noises continue as before. I put the machine in its case to take it home and, about 90 minutes later, the fan is blasting away and the machine is burning hot to the touch. I get battery time comparable to when the machine is on, when it is supposed to be asleep. If I'm doing something wrong, which is what Pod described and works on all my other Macs, please let me know. If this is a repairable problem with the machine, please let me know. I don't like the heat of the machine when I transport it - I'm concerned about damage to the computer itself - but would certainly prefer the time savings of being able to put it to sleep where I want to start working later.
I believe there was another thread discussing this some time ago, but can't find it now.

It's a macbook issue, not modbook. I have a brand new macbook pro and it STILL exhibits this behavior sometimes. My advice is to make sure you quit all programs before putting it to sleep.
