VESA Mount

Long time no hear of mystical VESA mount. Loved the stories of self built ones but really need without all the elbow greese. And hope of this quick release mount soon?

RE: VESA Mount

I am sooo glad I took the time to build the iMod TM stand, since there has been nothing from axiotron. I use it every day while at the office in this stand. A quick-release VESA would be nice.

RE: VESA Mount

How about selling it?

I would pay $60-$70 for something that looks nice like that...

RE: VESA Mount

well, If I were to do it all over, it would be portrait mode, and have incorporated docking... it needs to be easier to grab and go.... I have 6 cables plugged into it while at the office. I think the next version I make will be more expensive materials-wise, since I would prolly use the PCB from the bookendz macbook docking station arranged vertically so that the modbook sets down onto it in portrait mode, and can just lift off when I want to go... way better for meetings and such.... I think I would go through protocase and/or frontpanelexpress for a fully professional solution. It would be costly but worth it for me, and not practical to sell or mass produce... but fun to design.

RE: VESA Mount

I would still consider it if there was an option to buy one. Unfortunately my system does not support portrait mode...
